The eBox 4 Pro Expansion Chassis is purpose-built to support the latest PCIe 5.0 peripherals, offering up to 5400W of power. Engineered around the Microchip Switchtec® PCIe 5.0 PFX switch, it ensures ultra-fast, reliable communication. Dolphin's road map extends this to future PCIe 6.0 and 7.0 systems.

Designed for Flexibility
The eBox 4 Pro is built around the MXB585 platform, delivering exceptional flexibility in port configuration and system design. Powered by the Microchip Switchtec PFX 100xG5 PCIe switch, it provides transparent capabilities that enable seamless interconnection to a single server. Standard Peer to Peer communication is supported between the installed add-in cards.
This makes the eBox 4 Pro a powerful enabler for scalable, high- availability, and performance-driven computing environments.
The eBox 4 Pro can be configured and managed using Ethernet Multiple. eBox 4 Pro Systems having two of the MXB585 can and portioned with two uplinks or used as an extended single expansion.
Standardization
Dolphin is a proud and active member of PCI-SIG and a strong believer in standardization. Dolphin strive to deign its products to the most up to date PCI-SIG specificating to ensure maximum compatibility with generally available server systems and IO cards. The eBox Pro series utilizes or are compliant to the CopprLink 1.0 and Card Electro Mechanical (CEM) specifications.

The eBox 4 Pro can utilize our MXH532, MXH572 or the MXH542 PCIe Uplink cards.
Device sharing
