Ole-Henrik Eide: Chairman (Born 1951)
Mr. Eide has been on the board since June 2007. He has for the last 4 years been an independent business advisor for health care and technology companies. Previously he has headed the asset management for several institutions, and was directly engaged in growth companies in Norway and USA. He has held management positions in the various Norwegian companies, and has served on the board on several companies in the technology industry. Mr. Eide holds a MBA from the University of Utah.
Alf Rasmussen (born 1962), Master of Science, Board member.
Alf Rasmussen is a M&A consultant at Weibull AS. He holds a degree from American University in Paris as well as New York University. Rasmussen has experience as an international treasury broker with Den norske Credit bank, Stockbroker with Union Bank of Norway, Na Jensen & Co, A. Sundvall ASA and a founder of Atlantic Security AS. From there he went to form Emode AS, a technology company directed towards mobile applications which was later sold to Aspiro AB. Alf Rasmussen is Chairman of the Board of Etnus Corporation. Marit Døving (Born 1956)
Døving has long and diverse management experience from Norwegian and international telecom, software, and IT companies. The majority of her executive experience comes from large organizations headquartered in Norway, the US, France and the UK. Her non executive experience comes from serving as board member or chairman in a variety of publicly listed and privately held companies globally. Previous executive responsibilities include Executive Vice President of Global Marketing at Symbian Ltd, London, CEO of Consorte Group ASA, Oslo, Vice President, responsible for Marketing and Customer Relationships, Mobilix AS, Copenhagen (later Orange Denmark), and Executive Vice President and member of the Executive Committee of the Telenor Group. Doving is a Norwegian citizen, resident in London, United Kingdom.
Monica June Myklebust Øyen (born 1973), Board member.
Mrs. Myklebust Øyen holds a Bachelor degree from Handelshøyskolen BI. Mrs. Myklebust Øyen is Manager Director in Elektronix AS since 1999. Elektronix AS is a leading company for Industrial computer solutions, including PC’s and serial and network communications products. Head office for Elektronix is in Oslo. Market areas are Norway and Sweden. Myklebust Øyen is presently a board member in Bedriftsforbundet (Oslo/Akershus County) and Innovasjon Norge (Oslo/Akershus County). Tor Alfheim (Born 1943), Board Member
Tor Alfheim holds a Master degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian Techn. University. He has a main part of his background from Norsk Data AS, where he held various positions including CEO. Thereafter he became President and CEO of Comma Data Service AS for a period of two years and later President and CEO of Sysdeco Group ASA
Tor Alfheim is presently partner in Technology International Exchange Norway AS and is also a project Manager in Norsk Investorforum. Tor Alfheim has served as chairman/member on several boards within the Norwegian IT and high tech. industry, including Ementor ASA, Norsk Vekst ASA, Startfondet ASA and several other high tech start-up companies
Tim Miller (born 1957), CEO, Dolphin Interconnect Solutions ASA.
Mr. Miller joined Dolphin through its acquisition of StarGen, Inc. in February of 2007, initially serving as President of Dolphin ICS North America. He took over as CEO in July of 2007. Prior to joining Dolphin he was CEO of StarGen since 2004 and co-founded the company in 1999 and initially served as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He has over 20 years of experience in the high tech industry in semiconductor and system businesses driving all aspects of operations, marketing, business development, and sales. He held numerous management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation during the 1980’s and 1990’s. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cornell University, a Masters of Business Administration from Wharton, and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania. He started his career as a Civil Engineer Corp Officer in the US Navy. Mr. Miller is a US citizen with residence in Westboro, Massachusetts, USA.
Kåre Løchsen, (born 1947), Executive Vice President Technology,
From June 2007 Mr. Løchsen is Executive Vice President Technology. He was the CEO and responsible for funding Dolphin from 1992 after working on business development for the SCI technology and has been managing the company or the Oslo office with breaks for other tasks in the company. He has extensive and key customer, industry and research contacts world-wide. He has 34 years of experience from the industry with a strong technical background and experience in managing technical groups as well as marketing and business development. He holds a Master of Science from the University of Oslo in physics and computer science. Mr. Løchsen is currently on the board of SCILab Technology AS. Mr. Løchsen is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Hønefoss, Norway.
Alexander W. Gundersen, (born 1962), Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Mr Gundersen holds a Master of Business degree from The Norwegian School of Business Administration (NHH), and joined the management team in Dolphin in February 2006. Since 1998 Mr Gundersen has acted as a consultant, specialised in management, business development and equity financing of innovative venture companies within the field of medical equipment and life sciences. Mr Gundersen has held several management positions at corporate level in the company Hafslund Nycomed ASA (Now GE Healthcare, a world leader in the field Medical Imaging), including Senior Vice President and head of Corporate Strategy and Development as well as Vice President Finance, and head of Department of Investor Relations. Mr. Gundersen is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Oslo, Norway.
Einar Rustad, (born 1951), Vice President Business Development.
Mr. Rustad has acted as the Vice President Business Development from 1992 and 2004 and was former Chief Architect of high-end processors at Norsk Data (Norway), Manager of the high performance processor team in Dolphin Server Technology (Norway), Director of Architecture at ACRI (France) and the founder of Scali (Norway). He holds US patent 5,442,760 on a superscalar CPU instruction cache architecture. He has an extensive network of contacts within the international computing community both in large tier one vendors and companies representing end-users. He assists the CEO in developing the strategic marketing profile for Dolphin and works directly with developing the market channels. Mr. Rustad is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Oslo, Norway.
Lynne Brocco (born 1961), Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Ms. Brocco joined Dolphin through its acquisition of StarGen, Inc. in February of 2007. Prior to joining Dolphin, she was the Vice President of Engineering of StarGen since the co-founding of the company in 1999. She has 20 years of experience in the high tech industry, primarily in semiconductor development, as an Engineering Manager, Project Manager, and also as a Functional Architect with a strong background in PCI Express, PCI, and related interconnect technology. Prior to Stargen, she functioned in a similar capacity at Digital Equipment Corporation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Akron, and a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ms. Brocco is a US citizen with residence in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
Jon Gunnar Snilsberg, (born 1962), Vice President Marketing
Mr Snilsberg holds a Master of Business degree from The Norwegian School of Management (BI), and joined the management team in Dolphin in January 2007. For the past 15 years, Mr Snilsberg has held executive positions in the software industry both in Norway and in USA, including Director of Operations and Executive VP for IFS North America, Head of Partner relations and VP of Sales for IFS Scandinavia. He has long experience in managing international sales groups, and nourishes extensive contact with partners and customers. Together with the CEO and VP of Business Development, he is responsible for developing the strategic marketing profile and to establish and develop the market channels. Mr. Snilsberg is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Westborough, Massachusetts, USA.
Hugo Kohmann, (born 1966), VP Software and Solutions Engineering.
Mr. Kohmann is responsible for all software research and development. He has key knowledge of the Dolphin SW and HW and its applications and general software industry knowledge and extensive customer and partner contact. He has 15 years of industry experience and is a holds a Master of Science from the University of Oslo in computer science. Mr. Kohmann is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Oslo, Norway.
